What do the Location Display icons mean?
The probe icon represents device coordinates, which means that the native coordinate system of the digitizer is being used. The Bolt icon indicates that part coordinates are being used. When you have used a datum to align a part into SOLIDWORKS, you have defined a part coordinate system. The pencil icon shows that you are in sketch coordinates, which presents location values relative to the open 2D sketch.
