RevWorks alternate UI for some SOLIDWORKS features allows adding relations and trimming sketch entities via selection on the measured object itself.  Starting one of these features, and selecting the entities on the measured object allows a broader set of functionality to the user without having to put down the digitizer being used.

RevWorks Select by Probe supports a variety of SOLIDWORKS features, including:

  1. Trim
  1. Sketch Relation - Fixed
  1. Sketch Relation - Parallel
  1. Sketch Relation - Perpendicular
  1. Sketch Relation - Tangent
  1. Sketch Relation - Coradial
  1. Sketch Relation - Concentric
  1. Sketch Relation - Colinear

 

When a 'point' is created near an existing piece of geometry, that geometry is selected for the constraint.  When all pieces you desire to select are selected, hitting the second button will apply the relation.
