Renaming Probes

The ability to rename probe items allows you to clarify the intended use of a specific Probe or Probe Set. When copying Probes, RevWorks supplies a default name that identifies the probe as a copy of a specific existing Probe that you are likely to want to modify.

To Rename a Probe

  1. Access Probe Manager

  2. Right click on the Probe you wish to rename.

The Probe options pop-up menu appears.

  1. Select Rename, or if the Probe is already highlighted, left click on the Probe name.

The name of the Probe becomes an editable field.

  1. Change the name.

  2. Press the Enter Key, or
Left click on any area outside the edit field.

The edit field disappears and the name change is completed.

Note: Probe names must be unique within a Probe Set.
