Creating New Probes
In order to maintain data integrity, each probe that you use with your digitizer has specific characteristics that Probe Manager maintains. Tracking these characteristics makes it possible for Probe manager to compensate features for the active probe ball radius and to synchronize model data collected with multiple probes.
In order to use a probe, you must create the probe in RevWorks. Before you can digitize objects with your new probe, you must qualify the probe.

Note: RevWorks displays measurements in the same units as the currently active part or assembly document. You can enter values in any other supported unit of measure by adding the recognized abbreviation after the value you enter. |
