Using Probes - Setting the Active Probe
Setting the Active Probe
In order to digitize an entire part, you may need to use multiple probes. Using Probe Manager, you can choose and activate any Probe from a Probe Set to use while digitizing. The name of the active Probe and the Probe Set from which the active Probe is chosen appears in the title of the RevWorks toolbar if the toolbar is not docked to the top or bottom edge of the screen.
To Set the Active Probe

Access Probe Manager

Select the Probe Set that contains the Probe that you want to activate.

Next to the for the Probe Set, select to expand the list of Probes in the Probe Set.

From the list of Probes, select the radio button next to the Probe that you want to activate.
The selected Probe is now the active Probe.

Or right click on the selected Probe.
The Probe options pop-up menu appears.

Select Active.
The selected Probe is now the active Probe.
