Using Probe Sets - Reusing Previously Qualified Probe Sets
Reusing Previously Qualified Probe Sets
Probes within a Probe Set can be reused in later digitizing sessions. Some devices require that you re-qualify any probe before use. For Probes Sets that relate several positions of an indexable probe head you may be able to use all Probes within the set by only re-qualifying the Reference Probe. RevWorks does not require you to re-qualifying probes when switching between any qualified probes in a probe set unless this is specifically required for your chosen digitizer.
|
Warning: When physically removing a Probe from the digitizing arm, re-qualification of the Probe may be necessary, depending on the requirements of the specific device. If you are removing a probe head from a CMM you must re-qualify the Reference Probe and may need to re-datum the part. |

Access Probe Manager
-
Select the Probe Set that you want to use.
-
Activate the Probe Set, if necessary.
-
Next to the for the Probe Set, select to expand the list of Probes in the Probe Set.
-
Activate the Probe you wish to use, if necessary.
If your device requires the use of a Reference Probe you must qualify the reference Probe before you can use any Probe within the Probe Set.
