Using Probe Sets - Copying Probe Sets

Copying Probe Sets

 

You can make copies of Probe Sets to quickly develop multiple Probe Sets with similar characteristics or to make backup Probe Sets when you wish to try variations.

To Copy a Probe Set

  1. Access Probe Manager

  2. Right click on the Probe Set you wish to copy.

The Probe Set options pop-up menu appears.

  1. Select Copy.

A copy of the selected Probe Set is created and placed immediately below the source Probe Set with a default name. All Probes within the Probe Set are given the same name as in the source Probe Set.

    Note: All Probe information, including qualification, is copied so Probes in the Probe Set copy can be immediately used just as if they were probes of the source Probe Set.
