Using Probe Sets - Setting the Active Probe Set

Setting the Active Probe Set

 

In order to digitize an entire part, you may need to use multiple probes. Using Probe Manager, you can choose and activate any Probe from a Probe Set to use while digitizing. The name of the active Probe and the Probe Set from which the active Probe is chosen appears in the title of the RevWorks toolbar if the toolbar is not docked to the top or bottom edge of the screen.

To Set the Active Probe Set

  1. Access Probe Manager

  2. Select the radio button next to the Probe Set that that you want to activate.

The selected Probe Set is now the active Probe Set and the currently selected probe for the Probe Set becomes the active Probe.

  1. Or right click on the selected Probe.

The Probe Set options pop-up menu appears.

  1. Select Active.

The selected Probe Set is now the active Probe Set and the currently selected probe for the Probe Set becomes the active Probe.
