About Using Probe Manager With Your Digitizer
Probe Manager is a tool for creating and managing Probes for your digitizer. Creating and reusing Probe definitions is an important part of the digitizing process, especially if you wish to be able to revisit parts at later dates to collect more information and have that data align with previously collected data. Being able to reuse Probe definitions makes data collection easier and faster. Arranging Probes into Probe Sets allows you to create special associations of Probes that are more readily interchangeable. Probe Manager makes it possible to create, store and reuse multiple Probes for use with your digitizer.
Probe Manager provides for the creation and maintenance of Probes and Probe Sets that are specific to the active digitizer. Probe items are presented in a hierarchical tree within the left display pane of Probe Manager. When any item in the tree is selected with the mouse pointer information about that item is displayed in the right hand pane.
There are many actions you can take to manage Probe items. All items in the Probe Manager tree have an associated context menu. Right click on any tree item to display a list of actions appropriate for the associated item.
Probe Manager presents a customized Probe document for each supported digitizer. To learn more about support for your specific digitizer, see the following topics:
