Using Probe Documents - Creating a New Probe Document

Creating a New Probe Document

You can create and maintain multiple probe documents, though only one document can be active at a time. When created, probe documents contain one default Probe Set including one or more default Probes, depending on the specific digitizer you have selected for use. You can choose to add to, delete or modify Probes and Probe Sets to meet your alignment needs.

To Create a New Probe Document

  1. Access Probe Manager

  2. Right click on at the top of the probe document tree.

The probe document options pop-up menu appears.

  1. Select New.

The new probe item pop-up menu appears.

  1. Select New File.

A new probe document, appropriate for your selected digitizer type, is created, replacing the existing document.

Note: If the existing document has been modified you are asked if you are given the option to save the changes or cancel before the new document is created.
