Enabling Probe Manager

Enabling Probe Manager

When you enable Probe Manager, you can define and use multiple probes while digitizing a part. RevWorks automatically compensates data that you collect with ball probes to maintain data alignment.

Note: Probe Manager is only available for digitizing devices that support exchangeable probes.

Note: You can turn off feature compensation and still use ball probes. With feature compensation off, data is collected at the probe ball center. See Disabling Probe Compensation.

To Enable Probe Management

  1. From the RevWorks toolbar, right mouse click .

The options pop-up menu for Probe Manager appears.

  1. From the options menu, select Management.

A check mark appears next to Management in the menu, indicating that Probe Manager is enabled.
