Creating Radial Planes
A radial plane is a plane created through a selected line or axis and a digitized point. You must pre-select an existing line or axis in order to digitize a radial plane. Once the plane is created, the initially selected geometry remains selected so that you can easily create multiple planes that are radial to the same line or axis.
To Create a Radial Plane
Select a line or axis through which you want to create a radial plane.
From the RevWorks toolbar, select ,
or from the RevWorks toolbar right click on any displayed Plane icon and choose Radial,
or select Plane > Radial from the RevWorks menu in SOLIDWORKS.
A prompt appears leading you through the data collection steps.
Digitize a point at the location through which you want the radial plane to pass.
RevWorks automatically creates a plane through the digitized point and the selected geometry.
