Creating Planes

Planes are a fundamental object for creating features. You are likely to need to create many planes while collecting data from your part. RevWorks provides several plane creation tools that speed the process of creating planes aligned to facets on you physical part or is free space. There are several types of planes that you can create:

  1. Creating Multi-Point Planes
  1. Creating Parallel Planes
  1. Creating Offset Planes to the SOLIDWORKS Front Plane
  1. Creating Offset Planes to the SOLIDWORKS Top Plane
  1. Creating Offset Planes to the SOLIDWORKS Right Plane
  1. Creating Perpendicular Planes
  1. Creating Radial Planes
  1. Creating View Planes
