Starting Gage 2000a Digitizers

 

Gage 2000a digitizers do not require any special setup before starting.

To Start a Gage 2000a Digitizer

  1. Make sure that the device is securely mounted to the working surface or tripod.

    Note: See your Gage 2000a hardware documentation for specific instructions on how to properly mount your device and attach probes.

  1. Power on the Gage 2000a controller box.

The device beeps to confirm availability.

    Note: If you hear a continuous tone, one or more arm joints may have been rotated close to their maximum range. Try rotating the arm joints until the tone stops.

  1. From the RevWorks toolbar, select ,
    or select     Probe Manager from the RevWorks menu in SOLIDWORKS and choose the probe tip you plan to use.

  2. From the RevWorks toolbar or menu, select a feature to digitize (e.g.: line, circle, arc, etc.).

RevWorks automatically connects to your Gage 2000a digitizer.
