The complete Gage 2000a product line features several models ranging in size, accuracy, and freedom-of-movement configurations. Gage 2000a arms support probe exchange, allowing as many as four distinct probes to be used without requiring recalibration. In order to use a Gage 2000a digitizer with RevWorks, you must perform the following procedures:

  1. Connecting Connecting Gage 2000a Digitizers
  1. Configuring RevWorks for Gage 2000a Digitizers

Gage 2000a arm digitizers maintain a user-adjustable coordinate system within its internal registers. By using the Calip3D software that comes with all Gage 2000a digitizers, you can modify the coordinate system for your Gage 2000a digitizer. In addition, you can use the Calip3D software to calibrate any probe you plan to use with the Gage 2000a device. Once calibrated, a probe may be used and interchanged with other calibrated probes. The Calip3D software provides other features, including some useful diagnostic tools.

RevWorks communicates with Gage 2000a arm digitizers using a serial device interface. Please refer to the Gage 2000a operation manuals for specific information on the care and upkeep of your device.
