Renaming Origins

 

The ability to rename alignment items allows you to clarify the intended use of a specific Origin. When copying Origins, RevWorks supplies a default name that identifies the Origin as a copy of a specific existing Origin that you are likely to want to modify.

To Rename a Datum

1. Access Alignment Manager

2. Right click on the Origin item you wish to rename.

The Origin options pop-up menu appears.

3. Select Rename, or if the Origin is already highlighted, left click on the Origin name.

The name of the Datum becomes an editable field.

4. Change the name.

5. Press the Enter Key, or
   Left click on any area outside the edit field.

The edit field disappears and the name change is completed.

Note: Origin names must be unique.
