About RevWorks Messages
RevWorks displays messages to direct you through a digitizing process and to inform you of the current status. Most messages relate to the collection of data for the current digitizing action. In the event of a problem RevWorks also displays short messages describing an issue that needs your attention. Below is a list of possible error messages and descriptions of what you can do to fix the problems or errors that may occur.

Touch type probes may not be used while in scan point collection mode. |
Touch probes are not compatible with scan point mode data collection. Scan point mode is designed for data gathering with the probe in constant contact with the surface. Touch probes trigger data collection by sensing a deflection of the probe. A touch probe, in constant contact with the surface would not be able to cycle point detection or would provide erroneous data. |
