Displaying and Configuring the RevWorks Position Window

RevWorks provides the option of displaying the current probe location in a separate, resizable Position Window. By sizing the Position Window you can create a position display with large or small numbers or even limit the display to Z values only. The Position Window may also be independently docked to an edge of your computer display.

To Display and Configure the RevWorks Position Window

  1. From the RevWorks toolbar, select ,
or select Options… from the RevWorks menu.

The Options dialog appears.

Note: You can gain quick access to the Display options page by right clicking on the RevWorks Toolbar and selecting Display Options… from the pop-up menu. When accessed in this way, you can make changes to the Display Options without stopping data collection.

  1. In the Position Window group of the Display tab, select Show to display the Position Window.

  2. In the Position Window group, select Align Top or Align Bottom to dock the Position Window displayed along an edge of your computer screen. Select Float to display the window free floating.

  3. In the Position Window group, select Show Z Depth Only to display only the Z value in the Position Window

Note: The SOLIDWORKS precision option controls the precision of the numbers displayed by RevWorks. To adjust the precision and the units of location values displayed, adjust your SOLIDWORKS options.

To Change the Size of the Numbers Displayed By the RevWorks Position Window

Left click on any free edge of the Position Window and drag to change the size of the Position Window. The numbers displayed automatically change size to fit the available dimensions of the Position Window.
