MUS Can’t Start - Missing mfc100u.dll

MUS Can’t Start - Missing mfc100u.dll

This is a common Microsoft error on many Windows Operating Systems.  The OS will claim that this .dll file is installed, then fail to install it when requested by a 3rd party installer.  Manually installing will address the issue.

Please do the following:

 1. Uninstall MUS

2. Download the Visual Studio 2010 (VC++ 10.0) SP1

You can download the 64-bit or 32-bit version from Microsoft themselves here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

3.  Reboot your system

4.  Re-install MUS *as Administrator*
