Measuring Circle/Arc Radii
RevWorks, along with your digitizer, provides a Circle/Arc Radius function for measuring the radius of a circle/arc.
To Measure the Circle/Arc Radius

Select the SOLIDWORKS plane to which you want to project the circle/arc.

Warning: RevWorks projects the points that you digitize to the SOLIDWORKS plane that is selected. If you do not select a plane, sketch, or planar part surface to measure against, RevWorks displays a message informing you to select one before continuing. |

From the RevWorks toolbar, select
,
or select Measure > Circle > Radius from the RevWorks menu in SOLIDWORKS.
A prompt appears leading you through the data collection steps.

Digitize points along the circumference of the circle or arc.
RevWorks places the derived circle radius measurement on the clipboard. You can easily copy it to a field in any SOLIDWORKS dialog box, or to any other place that accepts text input.
