Creating 2-Corner Sketch Rectangles

RevWorks creates 2-Corner rectangles from two digitized points. 2-Corner rectangle features are groups of four trimmed line segments that are created as a group having vertical and horizontal relations pre-defined.

To Create a 2-Corner Rectangle

  1. From the RevWorks toolbar, select ,
or from the RevWorks toolbar right click on any displayed Rectangle icon and choose 2 Corner,
    or select
Rectangle > 2 Corner from the RevWorks menu in SOLIDWORKS.

RevWorks prompts you to begin digitizing points.

  1. Digitize two points at diagonally opposite corners of the rectangle.

RevWorks automatically generates a rectangle from the collected data and draws it on the active SOLIDWORKS sketch plane, including vertical and horizontal relations.

Note: RevWorks creates a 2-corner rectangle with sides that are parallel to the x and y axis of the sketch plane.
