Creating Active Features
Active features are used to directly create components of your SOLIDWORKS model. For example, a circle element of a sketch profile that defines the perimeter of a boss on your part is an Active feature. The majority of features that you create with RevWorks are Active features. All feature types created by RevWorks can be Active features in SOLIDWORKS.
To Create Active Features
From the RevWorks toolbar, select
,
or select Feature > Type > Active from the RevWorks menu in SOLIDWORKS.
The feature mode button changes to
to indicate that RevWorks is ready to construct Active features.

Note: If is displayed on the RevWorks toolbar then the mode is already set to construct Active features. |
