Setting Automatic Sorting of Points for Sketch Splines

If you plan to work with 2D splines, you can set RevWorks to automatically sort data before creating 2D splines in single point or scan point mode. By sorting spline data before creating 2D splines, RevWorks enables you to randomly collect data across sections of your part more than once without creating a self-intersecting spline.

At any time, you can enable or disable automatic sorting of points for 2D splines by performing the following procedures.

To Set Automatic Sorting of Points for Sketch Splines

  1. From the RevWorks toolbar, select ,
    or select
    Options… from the RevWorks menu.

The Options dialog appears.

  1. In the Features tab, select the Spline feature type from the Property Tree to access its property options.

  2. Select/deselect the Sort Points checkbox.
