Disabling RevWorks

Each time you start SOLIDWORKS, you start RevWorks. RevWorks does not interfere with your normal use of SOLIDWORKS. However, you can disable RevWorks at any time to prevent the automatic display of the RevWorks toolbar. You may disable RevWorks using the SOLIDWORKS Add-In Manager.

Note: You can enable RevWorks at any time by reversing the action you take to disable it.

To Disable RevWorks

  1. Start SOLIDWORKS.

  2. From the SOLIDWORKS Tools menu, select Add-Ins…

The Add-Ins dialog box appears.

Note: You do not have to have a Part or Assembly drawing open in order to disable RevWorks.

  1. In the list of registered Add-Ins, select the checkbox next to RevWorks to uncheck it.

  2. Select OK to disable RevWorks

RevWorks unloads immediately and no longer starts automatically each time you start SOLIDWORKS.
