About the MicroScribe Information Feature
This feature allows users to view information about the MicroScribe device that is activated through MUS.
Click on the MicroScribe Info icon to view the feature options
.
The MicroScribe Info tab will appear displaying the following information:
- Identifies that the MicroScribe Connection is by a USB port or otherwise which COM port and at what baud rate.
- The Product Name always identifies "MicroScribe" if a device is present.
- The Model Name shows which model of MicroScribe device is currently in use.
- Serial Number lists the serial number of the connected MicroScribe device.
- The Device ID is a common abbreviated reference name for MicroScribe devices.
- Update Time identifies the current update frequency, in milliseconds, set for the MicroScribe device.
- Firmware Version lists the revision of the firmware loaded on the connected MicroScribe device.
- Driver Version lists the version of the communication DLL (ArmDLL32 or ArmDLL64) being used for the connected MicroScribe device.
- A link is provided to the Revware website.
- Click the About button to see which version of MUS you are using.
